Vanessa Valdez is an accomplished and dedicated educator with a wealth of experience spanning more than two decades in the field of Early Childhood Education. As the
Director of Mariposas Preschool, Vanessa's commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning is at the forefront of her approach.

Vanessa's journey in education began with a profound passion for teaching and a sincere love for young children. She received her ECE and Director education at UCLA Extension. Her dedication to providing enriching experiences for preschoolers has remained unwavering throughout her career. With a background that includes teaching at prestigious private schools renowned for their high scholastic expectations, Vanessa has demonstrated her ability to meet and exceed the demands of rigorous educational environments.

Vanessa V Garcia

Vanessa Garcia comes from a solid education and diverse population background. In addition to her 7 years of experience working with students, she is also a master of special education from San Jose State University.

Vanessa is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students no matter where they come from or their learning differences. 

Throughout her academic journey, she has worked as an educator in low income areas, teaching students and supporting families to believe that cycles can break and all students can be successful. She has also coached families to work through developmental delays and helping children meet their developmental milestones.
